Dance Esteem was founded in 2009 in Eden Prairie, MN. Our studio aims to be a place where dancers can have fun, meet lifelong friends, feel empowered to try new things, and nourish their self esteem all while building excellent technique. In 2018 we opened our 2nd location in Plymouth which is now our only location. We now offer even more dance and tumbling options for all ages! We believe in Community over Competition.
Through a positive and nurturing environment, you will build strength, flexibility, and proper technique as we are passionate in helping you reach your highest level of self ESTEEM.
Please reach us at office@esteemstudios.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.
By enrolling in classes at Dance Esteem, you acknowledge and accept the inherent risks associated with dance activities, including but not limited to physical injury, property damage, and unforeseen accidents. You agree to release and hold harmless Dance Esteem, its owners, instructors, employees, and agents from any and all claims, liabilities, or damages arising out of or in connection with participation in studio activities, whether on studio premises or at any other location. This waiver of liability extends to any event that Dance Esteem students participate in at off-site events or performances.
All families are required to have a valid credit card on file for all payment transactions related to Dance Esteem. Upon registration, a non-refundable registration fee will be charged. The registration fee is assessed annually for the dance season, from September through May. Tuition payments are due on the first day of each month; the only exception is if you register mid-month. Tuition remains the same each month, regardless of the number of weeks in the month. If your credit card on file is declined, an alternate payment must be made within 72 hours to avoid class disruptions.
We do not adjust or prorate tuition for missed classes. We do not offer make-up classes. To withdraw from class(es), email office@esteemstudios.com before the 25th of the month. Otherwise, you will be charged for the following month. For example, to withdraw in February, notify us by January 25th. In cases of severe weather or unexpected circumstances, check your emails and social media for updates. We reserve the right to cancel or combine classes due to low enrollment, and will notify affected students promptly.
We will have several days during the season where you can come in and observe your child’s progess in person at the end of class. Please note, all regular classes are drop-off and pick-up only to ensure our dancers can focus without distractions. Academy and competition classes, choreography sessions, and rehearsals are always closed to observation.
Dancers must arrive on time for class. Our top-priority is to foster a positive, supportive, and respectful learning environment; therefore, students must show respect for instructors and peers at all times. Talking during class is prohibited except when necessary for class-related discussions. Disruptive behavior, such as using cell phones during class, not participating in training, or displaying a negative attitude, will not be tolerated and may result in temporary removal from class. The competition dress code is mandatory and must be followed at all times. Students should feel comfortable communicating with their instructor or the studio’s administrative staff if they have any concerns or questions related to their dance education or scheduling conflicts. We are always happy and available to communicate with you regarding any questions or concerns!
By enrolling at Dance Esteem, you grant permission for the studio to photograph and videotape your dancer during classes and studio events. These images and videos may be used for promotional purposes, including social media, the studio’s website, and other marketing materials. If you do not consent to this, you must notify us in advance by emailing office@esteemstudios.com
