Guide to the First Day of Dance

For all families, the first day of dance can be intimidating.       

To set your dancer/tumbler up for success here are a few friendly reminders:

Discuss with your child that you will be dropping them off at the door

We promise they soon will learn to LOVE being at Esteem and will want to call it their 2nd home too!

Label all shoes and attire needed for class

Pack a water bottle 

Remind them you will be there after to class to pick them up. If a parent is ever running late we will make sure to keep your child with us until you can arrive. 

Where to drop off and pick up?

DANCE

Dance studios 1-3 are located in the front of the building in Suite 1. Dance studios 5-7 are located in the back of the building through the Suite 15 entrance.  There is plenty of parking space in the front and on the side of our building.  There is also parking around back by Suite 15.

TUMBLING

Tumble studio 4 is located in the front of the building in Suite 1. Tumble studio 7 is located in the back of the building through the Suite 15 entrance.  There is plenty of parking space in the front, side and back of our building.

Please know that if your dancer or tumbler is ever in the wrong spot an Esteem instructor or staff member will personally accompany them to the correct studio.

We do not have waiting room for parents families and  in our lobbies - all our space is dedicated to studios and space for our talented students!  Please drop your dancer/tumbler off no more than five minutes before their class begins.  Make sure to park and walk in to drop off and pick up you student, especially if they are younger.  Esteem staff will be present for pick up and drop off but it can be a busy parking lot and we want to ensure safety for all of our students.  Students will not be able to cross the parking lot without a parent or guardian.
